A Beautiful way to start the Day.....

        This morning as I went to pour my coffee I glanced out the window to check the weather and the sky was absolutely beautiful!  Shades of pink and blue as if painted from an artists palette. I grabbed my phone to run outside and get a picture and was thrilled to catch the sun rising! 
           What a beautiful way to start the day and I took a few moments to admire this Glorious site! ​

        After a few minutes I came inside and was so excited by the colors of the sky I prepared a colorful omelette for breakfast. The smell of the  green peppers and onion was delicious.  I then added some Brushetta I had made and viola the colors jumped from the pan. Both the visual and flavor were so good!

                

            Today I am working on some artwork for a project I started some time ago. I'm making Recipe booklets with memorable stories and some handmade drawings. 
                  The hardest part to creating the booklets is giving the proper measurements. I measure many spices and ingredients with my eyes and the palm of my hand. It certainly has been fun recreating my recipes....although a few extra pounds came on last year as well.! LOL
                  Seeing the colors of the beautiful Sunrise this morning sparked my creativity to sketch.  Wishing everyone a beautiful Day!
