By now you all know that I absolutely love NYC and the wonderful people that make up the masses and specifically the adoration they have for their Dogs. It is certainly apparent with the number of stores that sell Precious Pet items as well as groomers and yes caterers and event planners for pawfect birthday parties as well. Added to the list are therapists and Dog Whisperers all over the City! I had an idea I shared with Stephanie before writing this post, that I would become a Paw reader for the many pooches that wish to know their past or look into their future! :) In an earlier post I shared the time I was visiting Stephanie and heard someone talking outside with the sweetest voice saying the great day they were having and they were on their way to get a treat and have a play date..... and when I looked out the window to see the little child realized they were talking to an adorable puppy. They were happy, the dog was happy..... and for that matter I was grinning from ear to ear! A simple loving exchange, that I overheard and we were all thrilled! A great start to a wonderful day in NYC! Check out the styles and some of my favorite city dog moments.
Well the Fall is officially here and we're even starting to feel a slight chill in the morning and evening air here in Florida. I recently returned from my annual Fall visit up North where I spent two fabulous weeks visiting my Daughter Stephanie. I love the creative way that NYC people take the smallest spaces and make them come alive as they plant their Mums and Marigolds and decorative Cabbage knowing that winter will be here soon, but enjoying that great season of Fall first. Autumn in New York is truly picture perfect. With the burst of colors, the chill of the air, smelling the first seasonal chestnuts and ordering that first cup of Hot Chocolate......oh yes....... it doesn't get any better for me. I hope I have'nt lost anybody yet with my penchant for being lost in la la land! :) I get excited to wear a sweater in Florida so when you see me in my Coat in NYC it's a big deal.....OK ....LOL!!!
I have many more pictures and stories to share of my Fall visit so stay tuned!
